Fall's color crush.....

Although here in Charlotte the temperature outside is still blazing, I am starting to see the color of the trees ever so slightly start to change. Fall is coming! And although I can not feel it, I can see it and that makes me so excited. Fall is absolutely my favorite season and with High Point market just around the corner, I have my eye on fall fashion and new introductions from fabric and accessory vendors.

One color in particular keeps catching my eye- burgundy, oxblood, wine, marsala, plum, or whatever you want to call it- seems to be a richer, more sophisticated cousin to the millennial blush or fuchsia pink that we all saw during spring and summer. I simply adore the depth of this color and I love using it almost like a neutral. Below are some of my current favorites in both dress and décor. You can shop all items here.

How amazing does this color look painted on the walls and cabinetry in this interior by M.A. Allen Interiors?
